Catcher in the Rye

Catcher in the Rye is an exiting novel about a boy named Holden Caufield who is going through the troubles of a teenage life. Holden has been expelled from many schools but that is the least of his problems. He is still mourning about the loss of his younger brother. Even though his brother was younger that him Holden still looked up to him. Holden also has a little sister. In the novel Holden had been recently kicked out of his school, but he does not want his parents to find out. So he decides to go to a cheap motel in a run down, remote area where he knows he wont run in to anyone that he knows so he can wait until the end of the school year.  

Personal preference: I did not enjoy this book. I did not see how it was interesting in any way and I thought it was very boring.
